The Center for African Area Studies (CAAS) at Kyoto University not only engages in research projects to promote academic research and studies, but also builds networks and continues to promote academic exchange with other research institutions for African studies around the world, including African countries. CAAS also promotes international collaboration and research network projects to facilitate the research activities of post-doctoral research fellows and graduate students.
