Japan-Africa Scholars Network
Japan-Africa Scholars Network (JASNET) intends to provide a platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas on advancement of research and academic activities in African Studies. As the name of network shows, this network is designed to promote exchanges of information between/among African and Japanese scholars. At first, the idea of forming this network was conceived among African scholars who visited the Center for African Area Studies, Kyoto University and their Japanese hosts. Then, the idea quickly expanded to include more members, mainly African and Japanese scholars/students.
We utilize Facebook (social networking service) for our communication.
